Having just been introduced to oil painting in my high school art class, this landscape of Hogwarts was simply a practice in the oil medium and was one of the first pieces I completed using fully oil paint. Hoping to improve with the unique and complex techniques of oil painting, I particularly aimed to experiment with color mixing, layering, and blending.
